According to the bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the Thao River, the water level in Yen Bai and Phu Tho is decreasing, forecast to continue to change slowly according to the downward trend. At 7:00 AM on July 22, the water level of the Thao River in Yen Bai was 25.74 m, in Phu Tho 12.63 m.

On the Lo River, the water level in Tuyen Quang and Vu Quang fluctuates due to the influence of upstream hydropower regulation. At 7:00 AM on July 22, the water level in Tuyen Quang was 15.11 m, in Vu Quang 8.12 m.

Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong station has the highest actual measured water level of 1.30 m, the lowest of 0.90 m. Luc Nam River at Luc Nam station has the highest actual measured water level of 1.20 m, the lowest of 0.80 m.
