Short-term hydrographic forecast and warning bulletin on July 31st of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said:
With the Thao River, the water level at Yen Bai station peaked at 28.78m (at 9:00 am on July 30), currently decreasing rapidly; at Phu Tho station peaked at 14.24m (at 1:00 pm on July 30), currently changing slowly in a downward trend.
Monitoring data at Yen Bai station at 7:00 am on July 31st was at 27.59m, at the same time at Phu Tho station at 14.02m.
It is forecasted that the water level of the Thao River at Yen Bai station and Phu Tho station will continue to decrease.
With the Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station (Phu Tho) is decreasing. Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir still maintains opening 1 bottom discharge gate.
Monitoring data at Tuyen Quang station at 7:00 a.m. on July 31 was at 16.89m, at the same time at Vu Quang station at 10.19m.
It is forecasted that in the Lower Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station will continue to decrease and be affected by the upstream hydropower regulation.

With the Da River, the flow to Hoa Binh reservoir is and will continue to fluctuate according to the above-level hydropower regulation.
At 7:00 AM on July 31, the water level of Hoa Binh Lake was at 39.35m.
With the Red River, the downstream water level at the Hanoi hydrological station is fluctuating upwards due to the impact of rain in the basin and regulation of hydropower reservoirs on the upper line (Hoa Binh and Tuyen Quang reservoirs still maintain opening 1 bottom discharge gate).
At 7:00 AM on July 31, the water level at Hanoi station was at 5.29m.
It is forecasted that the water level downstream of the Red River at Hanoi station will change slowly with a downward trend.
