On the Red River basin rivers, the water level of the Thao and Lo rivers is forecast to decrease.

Short-term hydrographic forecast and warning bulletin on July 30 of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said:

With the Thao River, the water level at Yen Bai station and Phu Tho station is rising slowly.

Monitoring data at Yen Bai station at 7:00 am on July 30 was at 28.68m, at the same time at Phu Tho station at 14.13m.

It is forecasted that the water level of the Thao River at Yen Bai station and Phu Tho station will continue to rise in the next 6-12 hours, then decrease.

With the Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station is decreasing, at Vu Quang station (Phu Tho) it is changing slowly. Tuyen Quang hydropower reservoir still maintains opening 1 bottom discharge gate.

Monitoring data at Tuyen Quang station at 7:00 a.m. on July 30 was at 17.48m, at the same time at Vu Quang station at 10.55m.

It is forecasted that in the Lower Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station will decrease and be affected by the regulation of hydropower on the upper line.

With the Da River, the flow to Hoa Binh reservoir is and will continue to fluctuate according to the above-level hydropower regulation.

At 7:00 AM on July 30, the water level of Hoa Binh Lake was at 39.29m.

With the Red River, the downstream water level at the Hanoi hydrological station is fluctuating upwards due to the impact of rain in the basin and regulation of hydropower reservoirs on the upper line (Hoa Binh and Tuyen Quang reservoirs still maintain opening 1 bottom discharge gate).

At 7:00 AM on July 30, the water level at Hanoi station was at 4.86m.

It is forecasted that the water level downstream of the Red River at Hanoi station will continue to fluctuate upwards in the first 24 hours and then downwards and be affected by the regulation of hydropower reservoirs.
