For the Lo River, the water level at Tuyen Quang station and Vu Quang station (Phu Tho) is and will continue to change slowly and is mainly affected by the regulation of hydropower on the upper line.

At 7:00 AM on August 20, the water level at Hanoi station was at 3.67m.
It is forecasted that the water level of the Red River at Hanoi station will change slowly and fluctuate according to the tidal regime as well as be affected by upstream reservoir regulation (Hoa Binh reservoir maintains opening 1 bottom discharge gate).
