Data updated at 2:15 PM on September 21st shows that in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 117.26m, 2.74m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir 90m3/s, total discharge 110m3/s.
In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh reservoir has an upstream water level of 113.85m, lower than the normal water level by 3.15m. Water flow to the reservoir is 80m3/s, total discharge is 2,155m3/s, of which 594m3/s passes through the plant.
Son La Lake has an upstream water level of 210.9m, lower than the normal water level by 2.1m. Water flow to the lake is 175m3/s, total discharge is 1,694m3/s, of which 1,642m3/s passes through the plant.
Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 290.62m, 4.38m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 265m3/s, total discharge is 499m3/s, all through the plant.
Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 471.83m, which is 3.17m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 431m3/s, total discharge is 42m3/s.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.08m, lower than the normal water level by 0.92m. Inflow to the lake is 368m3/s, total discharge is 28m3/s.
Thac Ba Lake has an upstream water level of 55.59m, 2.41m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake is 46m3/s, total discharge is 200m3/s.
Thus, in the updated group of hydropower reservoirs in the North, Hoa Binh has the largest total discharge volume with 2.155m3/s, followed by Son La 1.694m3/s and Lai Chau 499m3/s.
