According to system data updated at 3:15 PM on September 20, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake has an upstream water level of 117.06 m, lower than the normal water level of 120 m. Water flow to the lake is 358 m3/s, no discharge.
In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh Lake has an upstream water level of 113.78 m, which is 117 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 585 m3/s, total discharge is 578 m3/s through the plant. Son La Lake has a water level of 212.59 m, water recedes 303 m3/s and discharges 315 m3/s through the plant.
Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 291.64 m, 295 m lower than the normal water level; water flow is 724 m3/s but not discharged. Ban Chat reached 471.74 m, Huoi Quang 368.61 m and Thac Ba 55.5 m; these lakes did not record discharge at the time of update.
In the North Central region, Khe Bo reservoir has a water level of 65 m, equal to the normal rising water level; the inflow and total discharge volume are both at 870.4 m3/s. Trung Son reservoir has a water level of 155.83 m, inflow 561 m3/s and discharge 561 m3/s. Ban Ve discharges 311 m3/s, while Quang Tri discharges 72 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, Song Ba Ha reservoir has a water flow of 764 m3/s and a total discharge volume of 634 m3/s, including 234 m3/s through the spillway and 400 m3/s through the plant. A Vuong reservoir discharges 76.52 m3/s through the plant.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 511.45 m, lower than the normal water level of 515 m; water inflow is 529 m3/s and total discharge is 594 m3/s through the plant. Se San 4 has water inflow 899 m3/s and discharge 899 m3/s; Se San 3 discharges 566 m3/s.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water inflow of 1,330 m3/s and a total discharge of 774 m3/s through the plant. Thac Mo Lake has water inflow of 389.36 m3/s and discharge of 169 m3/s through the plant.
