According to updated data at 13:00 on July 22, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 105.51 m, 14.49 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reached 805 m3/s, total discharge volume 719.83 m3/s, all through the plant.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau reservoir has a water level of 286.34 m, 8.66 m lower than the normal water level. The inflow to the reservoir reached 1,357 m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 998 m3/s.
Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 469.78 m, lower than the normal water level by 5.22 m; water inflow to the lake is 226 m3/s, total discharge is 238 m3/s.
Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.71 m, 0.29 m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the lake reached 357 m3/s, total discharge volume 341 m3/s.
Son La Lake has a water level of 198.61 m, 16.39 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 2,599 m3/s, total discharge volume 3,155 m3/s.
At Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level is 103.7 m, 14.3 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 3.726 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 4,369 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 1,521 m3/s and through the plant was 2,848 m3/s.
Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 52.19 m, 5.81 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 320 m3/s, total discharge volume 444.49 m3/s, all through the plant.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 22, in the Northern region, in the late afternoon and night there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny days, in some places hot weather above 35 degrees Celsius.
The area from Hue to Da Nang and the east of provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have hot and intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 36-38 degrees C, with places experiencing particularly intense heat above 39 degrees C.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny during the day, with hot sun in some places.
