According to the Deputy Prime Minister, although the Ministry of Construction has not directly implemented all infrastructure projects in general, each project bears the mark of the construction industry. That is the mark of planning, investment, and development of standards and regulations.

"Entering the next phase (2026 - 2030), I expect the Ministry of Construction to have greater solutions to achieve higher achievements and achieve greater miracles," said Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha.

Reporting at the conference, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Viet Hung said that in 2025, the Ministry will implement and complete 53 projects (15 projects started, 38 projects inaugurated).
"The above figure is clearly higher than in recent years and compared to previous periods, reflecting the results of focusing on directing and implementing key projects, contributing to promoting investment efficiency soon, serving economic growth goals in the coming period", Deputy Minister Hung assessed.
Going into each field, according to the Deputy Minister of Construction, last year, the road sector started 13 projects, completing 28 projects.
By the end of 2025, 3,345km of the main expressway, 458km of intersections and access roads will be completed; 1,701km of coastal roads will be completed, marking a major step forward, demonstrating the results of the emulation movement "500 days and nights competing to complete 3,000km of expressway" and mobilizing total resources for expressways and other expressway projects under implementation to basically follow the set schedule.
In 2025 alone, 1,491km of expressways; 456km of national highways; 251km of coastal roads have been completed. The entire North-South expressway from Cao Bang to Ca Mau will be open to traffic. Many other important projects are continuing to be implemented such as: Ca Mau - Cai Nuoc Expressway, horizontal expressways such as Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway, Dat Mui - Hon Khoai Port traffic route...
Along with the breakthrough in investment in road infrastructure development, the railway sector has started 2 projects, completing 7 projects.
Aviation has completed 1 project. In the period of 2020 - 2025, the total operating capacity of air transport hubs nationwide will increase from 92.4 million passengers/year to 155 million passengers/year, an increase of 1.6 times.
There are 2 completed maritime and inland waterway projects. In 5 years (2020 - 2025), the capacity of the seaport system will increase 1.3 times, from 730 million tons to about 900 million tons, contributing to promoting import-export activities and developing the marine economy.
