On the evening of June 14, social networks spread a rescue post by a father saying that his son is currently a freshman in Thai Nguyen and was brutally beaten by a man right in the boarding house.
According to the sharing, the incident occurred at around 11:00 a.m. on June 6 at a boarding house in Quang Trung Ward (Thai Nguyen City). The reason is believed to have started from the male student (name hidden) riding a motorbike taxi to return and dropped the driver's helmet.
Although he apologized, this person did not accept and resorted to constant assault, causing the victim to be hospitalized for treatment.
Talking to reporters, Mr. B.M.Th (the victim's father) said: "Fortunately, some neighbors around there heard the cry for help, so they ran to stop him, otherwise they didn't know where the matter would go".
According to Mr. Th., even when someone came to stop him, the subject continued to attack. After being assaulted, his son fell into a state of panic.
"He is currently being treated at the hospital and is mentally unstable. The family in Quang Ninh was very worried when they heard the news," Mr. Th. added.
On June 15, informing reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Luu Anh Canh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Trung Ward (Thai Nguyen City) confirmed that the above incident occurred in the area.
"The unit has grasped the incident, and the police are currently investigating and handling it according to regulations," said the ward leader.
In December 2024, in Quang Trung ward (Thai Nguyen city), there was an incident where a female student named Sam Thi H. (born in 1997, residing in Lang Son province) was brutally assaulted by two people right in a rented room and had to be hospitalized for treatment.
The two subjects were later identified as Tran Phuong Th. (born in 1978, residing in Quang Trung ward) and Tran Thi Bich V. (born in 1982, residing in Trung Vuong ward, Thai Nguyen city).
