On the afternoon of June 15, social networks shared a clip about a pickleball court in Nam Tu Liem district (Hanoi) collapsing after a thunderstorm accompanied by strong winds that caused a stir among the public.

According to the verification of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the above incident occurred at the pickleball sports field at 40 Pham Hung Street (My Dinh 2 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District), near the FLC My Dinh building.

The incident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. the same day. At this time, there are many people playing in the above sports field.

A witness at the scene said that thunderstorms with strong winds caused the pickleball court pillars to shake, showing signs of collapsing. Many players quickly ran outside, leaving their belongings in the yard.

"When the pickleball court had its roof blown off and collapsed, everyone had evacuated safely" - the witness said.
