On September 22nd, Tri An Hydropower Company announced that it would discharge water through the reservoir regulating spillway at 10:00 AM on September 23rd with a water flow rate of 146m3/s. Then, at 3:00 PM on the same day, it raised the water flow rate to 276m3/s.
Tri An Hydropower Company can flexibly regulate water flow through the spillway depending on weather developments, water flow to the reservoir, water level of Tri An hydropower reservoir, and water level downstream of the river at Bien Hoa hydrological station.
Hydrological information of Tri An hydropower reservoir as of 8 am on September 22, the upstream water level of the reservoir reached more than 60.2m, water inflow to reservoir 1. 710m3/s, water flow through the turbine generating electricity 779m3/s, downstream water level reached 4.9m.
