On that basis, the Institute's leaders proposed implementing a project to strengthen the monitoring system and a short-term high-level warning and forecasting system, extremely short-term thunderstorms, whirlwinds, heavy rain and sea waves for Quang Ninh province to serve economic development, ensure social security with modern equipment, reconstruct and suit reality.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Duc An - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province - emphasized that the deployment of early warning equipment for thunderstorms, tornadoes, and lightning at some important locations, especially in Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay and coastal areas, is of great significance in ensuring safety for people and means of tourism in particular and the socio-economic development of the locality in general.

Therefore, Quang Ninh province will allocate resources to invest, deploy and operate the project to supplement technology for forecasting thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and meteorology. Quang Ninh province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to carry out construction steps and advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a policy to invest in an early warning equipment system. The implementation phase of the system is the area with tourism activities in Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay and coastal areas. The implementation of the system must be ensured quickly, promptly, effectively, accurately and practically.
