The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just reported the results of research on investment plans for a number of transport works in the province.
The official dispatch sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee said that the Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Bac Ninh Provincial Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board No. 1 to study and propose investment policies for a number of transport projects in the province.
Up to now, the Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board No. 1 has completed the research on investment plans for the following projects: (1) Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital (section through Bac Ninh province); (2) The road connecting Van Trung Industrial Park with Quang Chau Industrial Park.
According to the reporter's research, the Ring Road 5 of the Capital Region has been planned since 2014.
It is expected that this belt road will have a total length of about 331.5 km (excluding about 41 km running parallel to Noi Bai - Ha Long, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen, Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway 3).
The total investment capital of the Ring Road 5 planning project of the Capital Region is about 85,561 billion VND.
The route passes through 8 provinces and cities with each section of length: Hanoi about 48 km; Hoa Binh (now Phu Tho) about 35.4 km; Ha Nam (now Ninh Binh) about 35.3 km; Thai Binh (now Hung Yen) 28.5 km; Hai Duong (now Hai Phong) about 52.7 km; Bac Giang (now Bac Ninh) about 51.3 km; Thai Nguyen about 28.9 km; Vinh Phuc (now Phu Tho) about 51.5 km.
