Young face by the Ma River
In the list of delegates to attend the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, Ms. Lo Thi Nga (born 2003, residing in Muong Luan 1 village, Muong Luan commune, Dien Bien province) is one of the two youngest delegates.
At the age of 23, Ms. Nga is honored to represent the voice of Generation Z and Lao ethnic people in Dien Bien province. Born and raised in a purely agricultural family in Muong Luan commune, where the Ma River flows through, her life is associated with fields.
As the eldest sister in the family, from a young age, Ms. Nga was aware that studying was the only way to change her fate.
In December 2024, she graduated with a Fair Degree in Preschool Education from Tay Bac University and is waiting for a civil servant recruitment to realize her dream of becoming a teacher. She is currently a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Luan commune.
In the locality, Ms. Nga actively participates in youth mobilization movements, economic development and preserving Lao ethnic cultural identity. Although she is at home helping her parents farm, whenever the Commune Front or mass organizations need it, she is present.
The pride of the Lao people
In Muong Luan 1 village, where a large number of Lao ethnic people live, the enthusiasm of a young graduate helped Ms. Nga to be trusted by the Party Committee and local authorities and introduced as a typical individual to attend the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031.
Commenting on delegate Lo Thi Nga, Mr. Lo Van Huong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Luan commune - said: "Nga is a bright example of learning spirit and responsibility to the community in the locality. Nga being selected to attend the XI National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is a great honor not only for Nga personally, for her family but also for the entire Muong Luan commune.
At this congress, Ms. Nga wished to send the aspirations of young voters in mountainous areas regarding the issue of job creation for ethnic minority students after graduation.
Nga believes that she herself is also a person waiting to apply for a job, so she understands the concerns of young people in mountainous areas when holding university degrees in their hands.
I hope there will be more policies to support startups and prioritize recruitment for children of ethnic minorities in the locality. When young people have stable jobs, they will be the core force to build the great national unity bloc" - the 23-year-old female delegate expressed.
The 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 will take place on May 11, 12 and 13, 2026 in Hanoi Capital.
The Congress will have the participation of more than 1,300 delegates. In addition to Ms. Lo Thi Nga, the youngest delegate is also Ms. Y Nhi, a typical Ro Mam ethnic person in Lang Le village, Mo Rai commune, Quang Ngai province.
