On December 22, information from the People's Committee of An Cuu Ward (Hue City) said that a railway accident had just occurred in the area, causing a man to die on the spot.
According to initial information, at around 11:25 p.m. on December 21, the HH7 train was traveling in the North - South direction. When reaching Km 690+800, passing through An Cuu ward, the ship collided with Mr. Nguyen Van Tr. (68 years old, residing in Thanh Thuy ward).
At that time, the victim was identified as sitting in the railway area. The strong collision caused Mr. Tr. died on the spot.
After receiving the report, An Cuu Ward Police coordinated with professional units to conduct a crime scene investigation and autopsy. The victim's body has been handed over to his family for funeral arrangements.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
