    Ha Tinh - These days, fishermen in Xuan Yen commune (Nghi Xuan district) are very excited to go out to sea and catch a lot of Silver Pomfret fish, bringing in good income.

    According to fishermen in Xuan Yen commune, at this time, thanks to favorable weather conditions and calm seas, after just one night of fishing at sea, they often have a big catch of Silver Pomfret, and after deducting expenses, they still earn 3 - 4 million VND.

    Mr. Pham Trung Thanh - Chairman of Xuan Yen Commune People's Committee - said that Xuan Yen Commune currently has nearly 200 fishing boats with diverse capacities.

    On this occasion, the weather is favorable, fishermen go out to sea about 10-15 nautical miles from shore, catch a lot of Silver Pomfret fish, when they land, they sell them to traders at a price of 50,000 - 60,000 VND/kg for a good income.

    According to Mr. Thanh, in addition to silver pomfret, local fishermen also caught a lot of herring and some other valuable seafood, bringing in a significant source of income, so they were very happy, excited, and confident to go out to sea.
