On September 9, Saigon Railway Transport Branch (under the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company) announced that it had begun receiving the list of groups registered to buy train tickets for Binh Ngo 2026 Lunar New Year.
According to regulations, the minimum number of registrations for each departure or return trip is from 5 tickets or more.
The time to receive the registration list lasts from now until 3:00 p.m. on September 14, 2025.
It is expected that collective tickets will be on sale from 8:00 a.m. on September 15, 2025 and end on September 19, 2025. Meanwhile, the time to open Tet train ticket sales for individuals will be announced later.
Subjects eligible to register to buy collective tickets include: units of the People's Armed Forces; universities, colleges; industrial parks, export processing zones; companies, enterprises; social organizations; and units inside and outside the railway industry.
When registering to buy a group train ticket, you need to bring a letter of introduction, a list of passengers and a summary of the departure and return form according to the railway industry. The list must clearly and accurately state the information of each train rider, including: full name, phone number, identification number.
valid documents that can be used for registration include: citizen identification card, birth certificate, passport, armed forces certificate, National Assembly Delegate card, Journalist card, Party membership card, Union membership card, car - motorbike driving license, or certificate subject to social policy.
Units that need to buy collective tickets can directly contact ticket offices at the stations: Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Suoi Kiet, Binh Thuan, Phan Thiet, Song Mao, Thap Cham, Da Lat for instructions and registration procedures.
