On the morning of June 4, at Man Thai beach (Son Tra ward), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city coordinated with the City Union of Friendship Organizations and the City Peace Committee to organize a launching program to clean up Da Nang beach on World Environment Day (June 5).
The program is organized to raise awareness and responsibility of the community in protecting the marine environment, contributing to preserving the natural landscape and building a green - clean - beautiful city of Da Nang.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee launched a movement to join hands in protecting the marine environment, calling on organizations and individuals to actively participate in environmental protection activities with practical actions, contributing to building a civilized and environmentally friendly lifestyle.
On this occasion, the Da Nang Green Startup Group also presented 10 environmentally friendly net bags to representatives of Fatherland Front Committees in Son Tra ward to spread the message of green living, reducing plastic waste and promoting environmental protection activities in the community.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates, union members, youth, students, volunteers and people simultaneously launched a campaign to collect and sort waste in the Man Thai beach area.
The activity contributes to raising community awareness in protecting the marine environment, preserving the clean and beautiful coastal landscape and spreading the spirit of responsibility for a green, clean, beautiful and sustainable development of Da Nang.
