Discovering a rare pangolin lying on the roadside in the dark, Mr. Do Quoc Sau did not hesitate to bring it to the police station to hand over, hoping that the animal would soon return to nature.
At about 1:15 am on May 5, the headquarters of Hoa Vang Commune Police (Hoa Vang commune, Da Nang city) received a live pangolin, weighing about 1.5kg, handed over by Mr. Do Quoc Sau (born 1989, native of Ca Mau, currently a construction worker in the locality).

Previously, on the way home from work through the White Bridge area (Dong Lam village, Hoa Vang commune) belonging to National Highway 14G, Mr. Sau accidentally discovered the animal lying on the side of the road. Realizing that this is a rare forest animal, listed in the Vietnam Red Book and facing the risk of extinction, he immediately took this individual to functional agencies.
Immediately after receiving it, Hoa Vang Commune Police quickly coordinated with the local Forest Protection force and the Commune Economic Department to check the animal's health. After determining that the pangolin was completely healthy and qualified for survival, functional forces carried out procedures according to regulations and organized the re-release of the animal back to its natural environment.
