According to the story of Ms. Doan Thi Lien (born in 1990, residing in Hai Cang ward), at around 5:00 p.m. on March 25, her daughter, T.B.T (born in 2018), was playing in front of her house when Mr. V (neighbors) suddenly cursed her loudly, saying that she was "dumb and uneducated".
After that, Mrs. H (Mr. V's wife) continued to hold a broom in front of Ms. Lien's house, loudly cursing and scolding, leading to an argument between the two sides. During the tension, Mr. V and his wife broke into the house to beat, strangled Lien and threatened T.
The incident only stopped when people around intervened. Ms. Lien then extracted the image from the security camera and reported it to Hai Cang Ward Police.
"The next morning and afternoon, Mr. V went to the house twice to apologize to my wife and I, but he only went alone. As for Ms. H - who directly beat my mother and child - there was no act of apology, so I did not accept it, and am still waiting for the police's results," said Ms. Lien.
Regarding the information that Ms. H is a teacher working in Quy Nhon City, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quy Nhon City confirmed that Ms. H is a teacher at Nhon Phu Primary School. Currently, the school has worked with Hai Cang Ward Police to coordinate in handling the incident.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Nam - Vice Chairman of Quy Nhon City People's Committee - said that the local government will handle the case in accordance with regulations.
"Everyone must live according to the provisions of the law, as must teachers. If it is wrong, it must be handled, and to the extent it is wrong, it must be handled. The city is waiting for the ward to report the incident," Mr. Nam emphasized.
