On February 3, the People's Committee of Quang Xuan commune (Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province) said that an accident had just occurred, killing a woman.
At around 3:30 p.m. the same day, a passenger bus with license plate 29K-006… was traveling on National Highway 1 in the North-South direction when it collided with a woman (identity unknown) at Thanh Luong village (Quang Xuan commune). The collision caused the woman to die on the spot.
Upon receiving the news, the authorities were present at the scene to investigate and clarify the incident.
The accident caused a 2km traffic jam on the road through Quang Xuan commune. Authorities have been directing traffic, and by around 5pm, the road was clear again.
