On June 21, news from Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that through propaganda and guidance on policies to support people after detoxification, Khanh Hoa province had the first case of accessing preferential loans of 100 million VND to invest in production and stabilize life.
This resource was obtained thanks to the proactive implementation of the Propaganda and Consulting Plan of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.
The unit has actively coordinated with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to organize in-depth dissemination conferences on Decision No. 08 of the Prime Minister.
Thereby, helping grassroots police forces firmly grasp policies and procedures to directly support people.
After propaganda campaigns, Anh Dung Commune Police conducted reviews, guidance and completed dossiers for a citizen after drug detoxification in the area.
As a result, this citizen was disbursed 100 million VND according to Decision No. 08 to invest in a cow farming model.
The implementation of credit policies to support people after detoxification is expected to contribute to creating livelihoods, helping wrongdoers have more conditions to stabilize their lives, limit the risk of relapse, and at the same time contribute to ensuring security and order in the area.
