On March 2, Mr. Nguyen Dang Giap - Director of the Central Highlands General Hospital - confirmed that the unit is coordinating with the authorities to end the situation of competing and luring customers into restaurants in front of the hospital gate.
According to Mr. Giap, the cause comes from the hospital's ethnic cleansing being stopped, while the demand for food of patients, relatives and medical staff is very high.
Previously, in 2023, a business in Vinh Phuc won an auction to lease hospital concrete business premises.
However, the operation process was ineffective, this enterprise blamed the hospital's charity activities. For nearly a year, this unit has not been operating gasoline and insulin due to contract violations.
Currently, the hospital has filed a lawsuit to resolve the matter according to regulations, and is waiting for the verdict to re-organize the bidding.
The hospital has also issued a notice to find a unit to organize an auction for the rental of the gas station. When the gas station resumes operation, the problem of competing for customers at the hospital gate will be somewhat resolved.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that many subjects brazenly lured and competed with customers in front of the hospital gate, causing disorder. This situation makes people who visit and care for patients feel uncomfortable and tired.
