According to information from Ha Dong District Police, at around 7:07 a.m. on December 27, the unit received a report of a fire at a residential and business house located on Ao Sen Street, Mo Lao Ward.
Immediately upon receiving the news, Ha Dong District Police directed the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (PCCC&CNCH) to dispatch 1 command vehicle, 1 fire truck and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.
Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Region 4 (Hanoi Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department) sent 2 fire trucks.
Initial verification shows that the burned building is a residential house and a restaurant (4 floors). The fire broke out on the first floor, then smoke and fire spread to the upper floors.
Residents said they initially heard popping sounds, then a burning smell and black smoke spread quickly. They used household fire extinguishers to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
As soon as they arrived at the scene, the authorities deployed fire fighting measures and quickly controlled the fire.
The fire area is about 40 square meters, there are no human casualties, property damage is being counted.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
