Accordingly, the fire broke out at around noon on December 26, at the scrap collection point of Mr. Vu Van Kin's household (residing in Group 2, Duyet Trung ward).
Because the scrap collection area contained many flammable materials such as paper, plastic, rubber, etc., coupled with strong winds, the fire created a column of black smoke rising high, estimated to be tens of meters high.
After receiving the fire alarm, the fire prevention and rescue force mobilized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate in extinguishing the fire.
By about 11:30 am the same day, the fire was under control.
The fire did not cause any human casualties, and property damage has not yet been estimated.
Authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause.
