On the evening of January 28, Permanent Vice President of the Binh Dinh Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy visited and presented 30 gifts, each worth 700,000 VND, to union members and employees of Binh Dinh Environment Joint Stock Company.
The recipients of the gifts were people working on New Year's Eve on the streets of Quy Nhon belonging to Environmental Teams No. 1 and No. 4.
At a time when reunion and gathering in every home becomes sacred and precious, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy expressed her gratitude to the team of union members and workers who, despite the difficulties and hardships, have silently sacrificed part of their personal needs for the benefit of the community: “Ensuring sanitation and the urban environment is a special job. At the end of the year, the labor intensity is even greater, household waste increases many times more than usual, you have to work overtime, work through the night; many people do not have time to be with their loved ones to light incense on the family altar at the beginning of the new year. That is truly precious.”
On behalf of Binh Dinh Labor Federation, Permanent Vice President Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy praised Binh Dinh Environment Joint Stock Company and the unit's grassroots trade union for their efforts in coordinating to care for the material and spiritual lives of workers and laborers. Ms. Thuy wished the company's employees a joyful, warm, economical and safe Tet holiday.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, a worker of Environmental Team No. 4, who has worked on the streets of Quy Nhon for 25 years, said: “Salary and bonuses are paid early, we have enough time to shop so we are not too concerned about our family's Tet. In the past 5 years, the company has continuously invested in upgrading equipment, the collection and transportation of garbage is done quickly, the number of people "welcoming New Year's Eve" on the streets is not as much as before. No one compares the pros and cons. Wherever you are, you have to work, you have to be dedicated. It's a bit hard work, but in return, the streets are clean, beautiful, and beautiful, which is enough to be happy."
Binh Dinh Environment Joint Stock Company has 664 workers, of which 416 are female, accounting for 63%. 100% of the company's employees are union members.
According to Chairwoman Tran Thi Tram Anh, in 2024, the company's Trade Union was classified by the Quy Nhon City Labor Federation as having excellently completed its tasks. The unit has 1 collective and 1 individual proposed to receive a certificate of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
