On March 26, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nha Trang ward said that functional forces simultaneously launched a campaign to inspect and handle cases of encroachment and re-encroachment of sidewalks and roadways for trading and illegal parking in many key areas.
The points focused on handling include the area of April 2nd Square, Dam market, Xom Moi market; Tran Phu, Yersin, Le Thanh Ton, Nui Mot streets and To Hien Thanh - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai intersection.
Mr. Ngo Khac Thinh - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nha Trang ward - said that during the inspection on the evening of March 25, functional forces combined propaganda and resolutely strictly handled violations.
Many cases of encroaching on roads and sidewalks for trading and causing traffic congestion have been recorded.
Functional forces also temporarily seized many vehicles and violating items such as electric vehicles, tables and chairs, umbrellas, bubble cars, strollers... due to illegal use on sidewalks and roads.
According to statistics, from July 1, 2025 to now, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department has advised the Ward People's Committee to issue 143 decisions to sanction administrative violations in the field of traffic order and safety and urban aesthetics, with a total amount of more than 268 million VND.
In particular, in the East Park area of Tran Phu Beach alone, there were 2 cases fined with a total amount of 55 million VND.
In addition, functional forces also dismantled 1 bar of Bien Xanh Co., Ltd. due to violations of regulations on licensed use purposes.
In the field of environmental protection, functional agencies have advised on issuing 2 decisions to sanction administrative violations, with a total amount of 4.5 million VND.
