The incident occurred at 4:20 a.m. on November 25 in front of house number 401 An Dinh in Tu Minh ward, Hai Phong city. At this time, the car driven by H.D.H (born in 1985, residing in Thai Nguyen province) was traveling from National Highway 5 to An Dinh Street to Vo Nguyen Giap when it collided with a pedestrian.
The victim was identified as Ms. N.T.N (born in 1968, residing in Viet Hoa ward, Hai Phong city), a garbage collector who was pushing a garbage truck close to the right side of the road in the direction of the car.
As a result, Ms. N suffered a traumatic brain injury and died at 2:00 a.m. on November 26. The preliminary cause was determined to be that the car driver did not pay attention and caused the accident.
Currently, the case is being handled by the authorities according to regulations.
Previously, at 8:56 p.m. on November 24, at km 71+500 of National Highway 5, an accident occurred between a car and a motorbike. As a result, the motorbike driver suffered a traumatic brain injury. The reason was that the car driver changed direction not in accordance with regulations.
