This is an activity in response to the event "Marching forward with Vietnam", with the message "1 billion steps forward to the new era", jointly organized by Nhan Dan newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

As the largest FDI enterprise in Vietnam, Samsung is proud that its Vietnamese staff is both the workforce that creates modern high-tech equipment "made in Vietnam" and the hearts ready to join the country.

We believe that every step of Samsungs staff will join 1 billion steps of Vietnam in this meaningful campaign to create strength, confidence and aspiration, together with Vietnams progress, said Mr. Na Ki Hong - General Director of Samsung Vietnam.

This activity is also in line with Samsung's programs to encourage physical exercise, build a healthy lifestyle and protect the environment through carbon emission reduction. Therefore, participating in the program does not stop at sports activities or community events, but is a meaningful journey, spreading the spirit of Vietnam.

Samsung's 30th anniversary accompanying Vietnam

Samsung built its first TV factory in Ho Chi Minh City in 1995. Then, in 2008, Samsung continued to build the Samsung Electronics Vietnam mobile phone factory in Bac Ninh. To date, Samsung's presence in Vietnam includes 6 factories, 1 Research and Development (R&D) Center and 1 sales agency. Samsung is the largest foreign direct investor in Vietnam, with a total investment capital of up to 23.2 billion USD. Samsung's export value in 2024 will reach 54.4 billion USD.

During 30 years of accompanying Vietnam, in addition to being the largest FDI enterprise in Vietnam, Samsung has been constantly striving in community activities, aiming to become a enterprise that receives much love from the Vietnamese people. Actively participating in the program "Marching forward with Vietnam" is a living proof of that spirit.
