On October 16, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.
At the conference, Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Head of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo's Decision on appointing Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee expressed: "I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, the Central Organization Committee, the Party and State leaders for trusting me with the great responsibility of leading the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee".
The new Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee said that the province has an important and strategic position in terms of national defense and security; has a long tradition of culture and history; and has room for socio-economic development.
Mr. Triet affirmed that he is deeply aware of the assigned tasks, striving to build Dak Lak province to develop quickly and sustainably, richly and beautifully, becoming a new growth pole of the Central Highlands and the South Central Coast...

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet (born on October 15, 1976), hometown of Duy An commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province.
He has a Master's degree in Business Administration, Silicat Technology Engineering; and a high level of political theory.
Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet has held positions including Secretary of the Da Nang City Youth Union; Secretary of the Lien Chieu District Party Committee; Chairman of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; Chief of Office of the Da Nang City Party Committee; Secretary of the Hai Chau District Party Committee (Da Nang).
From October 2020 to December 2020, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the 22nd term, 2020-2025.
From December 2020 to January 2024, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City.
At the 13th National Party Congress, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee.
On January 24, 2024, the Politburo transferred, assigned and appointed Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.
On June 30, 2024, at the announcement ceremony of the Central Government's decisions, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee (old) was appointed by the Prime Minister as Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City for the new term 2021-2026.
On September 17, 2025, the 1st Da Nang City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, announced the Central Committee's Decision on appointing Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the term 2020-2025 to hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.
