Representatives of the Hanoi City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board said that in 2026, the total capital allocated to the Board is about 10,200 billion VND. To date, the Board has disbursed about 3,000 billion VND, reaching 30% of the capital plan. For the remaining capital, the Board has developed a specific implementation plan, striving to complete it in September 2026, contributing to the city's growth target.
The Board is implementing 7 bridge projects across the Red River, Ring Road 2. 5, Ring Road 3. 5, Ring Road 1 and regional connecting traffic routes such as National Highway 6 and My Dinh - Ba Sao - Bai Dinh route.
Site clearance for key projects has basically been resolved. The National Highway 6 construction project still faces many difficulties, and the Board is currently closely coordinating with localities, striving to complete site clearance in June 2026, and complete the project in 2027 according to city directions...
According to leaders of Hong Ha ward, the disbursement rate of public investment for Tu Lien bridge reached 99.7%, and Tran Hung Dao bridge reached 96.6%.
Chairman of Hong Ha Ward People's Committee Bui Tuan Anh said that persistent propaganda and mobilization are key factors to bring success in site clearance for the two bridges in the area.
Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Hung Ward People's Committee Pham Hai Binh informed that the ward has identified budget revenue collection and site clearance for key projects as key tasks.
The ward has drastically promoted site clearance for Linh Nam street, and has now completed 100%, disbursing 1,354/1500 billion VND. At the same time, the ward coordinates with wards to continue site clearance work, in order to ensure progress and commit to the city that the entire Linh Nam street will be completed in 2026.
At the conference to review work in April and deploy tasks for May 2026 that was just held, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Tran Duc Thang emphasized: "The Party Committee and City People's Committee directed to review the entire list of projects, clearly classify each group of problems (ground clearance, procedures, design - estimate, bidding, contractor capacity), and have specific solutions for handling each project, each week, each month.
Focus on immediately removing "bottlenecks" in site clearance, materials, and administrative procedures; minimize processes but still ensure strictness and compliance with regulations; not accept disbursement below 100% at all levels".
