However, the site clearance work still faces many difficulties and obstacles, especially at the Road Project from Loc Ninh Commune to Dong Hoi Northwest Industrial Park, Dinh Muoi Tourist Road Project, Bao Ninh - Hai Ninh Road Project and the road connecting the National Highway 1A bypass with the East branch of Ho Chi Minh Road.
Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee Phan Phong Phu said that he has requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to advise on a decision to replace Decision No. 22/2018 of the People's Committee promulgating regulations on compensation, support and resettlement policies when the State acquires land in Quang Binh province to serve as a basis for units to carry out site clearance work.
Regarding the project of Loan for environmental development and urban infrastructure to respond to climate change in Dong Hoi city, Mr. Phu assigned relevant departments, branches and sectors to work with people to solve the problem of site clearance.
Regarding the BIIG2 Quang Binh project, the Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee assigned the responsibility to the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with departments and branches to review difficulties and problems in accordance with current legal regulations as well as based on the functions and tasks of competent authorities to resolve.
Mr. Phan Phong Phu also requested the People's Committee of Dong Hoi city and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh district to direct relevant units to speed up the construction progress of the Loc Ninh commune resettlement area, the technical infrastructure of the residential and resettlement land under the Dinh Muoi urban planning.
At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province requested the investor to urge the construction unit to take advantage of the weather and the assigned site to speed up the construction progress.
