VTC Digital Television Station ceased operations from 0:00 on January 15. Accordingly, TV channels belonging to the VTC group will stop production and broadcasting on all broadcasting infrastructures, including FPT Play.
The list of 13 VTC TV channels that have stopped operating includes: VTC1 HD, VTC2, VTC3 HD, VTC4 HD, VTC5 HD, VTC6 HD, VTC7 HD, VTC8, VTC9 HD, VTC10 HD, VTC11, VTC14 HD, VTC16 HD.
The tasks and functions of VTC Digital Television Station were transferred to Vietnam Television Station (VTV).
In addition to channels of VTC Digital Television, Voice of Vietnam Television (VOVTV), and Nhan Dan Television also officially stopped operating from 0:00 on January 15.
Previously, on December 31, 2024, in the Vietnam News of the Day, Vietnam National Assembly Television announced to the audience about the broadcast of the last news. The functions and tasks of this unit were transferred to Vietnam Television.
Opening the program, MC Viet Phong said that this is the last day of 2024 and is also a special day for those who make the Vietnam New Day program of Vietnam National Assembly Television.
“Today, December 31, 2024, the people who produce the Vietnam New Day program would like to say goodbye to you. Today, all of us produce the Vietnam New Day program in a familiar interface, saying hello to you and your friends. But tomorrow, January 1, 2025, we will no longer be able to say that familiar hello. We have completed the final tasks, completing the mission of transmitting information every day on the channel of Vietnam National Assembly Television” - MC Viet Phong said.
According to the plan to reorganize and streamline the apparatus, National Assembly Television will cease its operations, and related functions and tasks will be transferred to Vietnam Television.
