The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway is 100.8km long, the entire route passes through Binh Thuan province and was put into operation, the main route was exploited from May 19, 2023, and inaugurated on June 18, 2023. After the exploitation period of this expressway, the locality surveyed and proposed that Project Management Board 7 (Ministry of Transport) add some residential access roads.
The Ministry of Transport has approved a new bidding package to facilitate safe and convenient travel for people living along the highway.
Currently, the construction package for additional residential access roads is simultaneously implementing many construction phases at the construction site. The localities with additional residential access roads are Tuy Phong district (2.2 km long), Bac Binh (2.3 km long), Ham Thuan Bac (4.8 km long), and Ham Thuan Nam (2.8 km long).
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Pham Quoc Huy, Executive Director of Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway (Project Management Board 7) said that about 12.2 km of additional residential access roads are being constructed along Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway.
At km 228 through Muong Man commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan, there are 2 locations where excavators are constructing additional residential roads. At one location, the excavator is filling the roadbed, and at another location, the K90 roadbed is being constructed.
The total value of the additional package for the residential road is nearly 63 billion VND and from the end of June 2024, the package will start construction.
