A series of abandoned headquarters in Bac Lieu that have not been used for many years have now seriously degraded. Typically, the old headquarters of the Bac Lieu Provincial Preventive Medicine Center at 199 Dong Da Street, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City has been abandoned for more than 10 years. Currently, the grass is growing wildly.

In Ward 5, Bac Lieu City, the Testing Department of the Preventive Medicine Center No. 57/2 Cao Van Lau Street has also been abandoned since 2018 and is now unmanaged by anyone.

The old headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Ward 5 and Ward 7 (old) have not yet determined the specific type of commercial - service land, so they are still confused and slow to implement and cannot be auctioned. The headquarters of Ward 7 People's Committee has been relocated to another location, the headquarters is vacant.

The Bac Lieu City Vocational Education Center has been dissolved for a long time. The headquarters is also abandoned without anyone to manage it, the house has seriously degraded.
Opposite is the headquarters of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Health Care Protection Board located right at the corner of Ba Trieu - Le Van Duyet Street, which has been abandoned for nearly 10 years. Many items are seriously degraded.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Lieu province, procedures for auctioning land use rights and assets attached to land belonging to state agencies have changed a lot. From 2007 to present, there have been many Decrees amending, supplementing or replacing, each time the change is made, the auction must be stopped to wait for a new policy, so the implementation takes a long time.

The issue of determining the starting price for auctioning houses and land must be rented to an organization with the function of appraisal and waiting for the Provincial People's Committee to approve, but in many cases, the consulting unit determines the price that is not suitable or does not ensure the order and procedures must be revised many times, taking a lot of time to implement.

Previously, Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu proposed to strengthen and speed up the handling of real estate rearrangement. A quick and effective auction will contribute to increasing revenue for the state budget. Units and localities need to urgently conduct a review of all houses and land facilities under their management to develop a plan and propose accurate data handling, in accordance with regulations and procedures. Procedures that are still difficult or problematic should be promptly reported to the Provincial People's Committee for direction to resolve, to avoid wasting public land.
