Official dispatch No. 942/UBND CBTH dated March 14 signed by Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu: Bac Lieu Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association; Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Office stated: No later than March 17, the Business Coffee Shop Association must stop all activities (eating, drinking, trading Business Coffee...) and clean the premises to hand over to the Provincial People's Committee Office before March 31.
Previously, on November 25, 2024, Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thieu also issued Official Letter 4876/UBND-CBTH to temporarily revoke the site and hand it over to Bac Lieu Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association. In this document, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province directed: "Assign departments, branches, sectors, units, organizations, individuals, and levels with relevant functions and authority to: Coordinate and support the Provincial People's Committee Office in handling all issues related to the site recovery currently assigned to the Bac Lieu Young Entrepreneurs Association; support the Provincial People's Committee Office to ensure the implementation of relevant procedures and order; handle all issues of propaganda, mobilization, persuasion, and enforcement against facilities and individuals, ensure security and order at the above location if any arise".
The reason for the revocation of the Business Coffee Shop Association was explained by the Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee to serve the repair, upgrading, and expansion, ensuring the landscape and operations of the Provincial Cultural Center.
On March 16, Mr. Le Chi Ton - Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial Business Association - said that the Association submitted a document to the Chairman of the People's Committee, People's Committee, and Office of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee immediately after receiving Official Letter 4876/UBND-CBTH requesting an extension of relocation time because the Association Office is currently located here; The Business Coffee Shop Association has invested heavily in: wooden houses, toilets, ornamental plants, miniatures, tables and chairs... On the other hand, it has not yet found a relocation location, so it would like to delay according to the document of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. However, this submission was not responded to by the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province.
The Bac Lieu Business Coffee Shop Association was temporarily allocated land by the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee to the Bac Lieu Young Entrepreneurs Association for implementation in 2017.
In 2018, the Business Coffee Association (known to the people as Business Coffee) officially came into operation. This is where the Chairman of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee regularly meets with businesses and investors to share difficulties; listen to the opinions of businesses and young entrepreneurs with startup ideas.
In addition, the Business Coffee Association is also a destination for investors, artists, intellectuals, students... because this place is airy, clean and beautiful. The Business Coffee Shop Association was once considered a symbol of the closeness between provincial leaders and businessmen and enterprises in Bac Lieu province.
Regarding the suspension of operations and clearing the premises before March 17, Mr. Le Chi Ton affirmed that the Association could not move in time; The Association will continue to propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to extend the operation of the Business Coffee Shop Association.
