Many streets in Da Lat are deeply flooded after heavy rain

LAM HỒNG |

Lam Dong - Heavy rain fell on Da Lat city, causing many streets to be submerged in water, with some places having water rising up to 40cm.

At around 1:00 p.m. on June 16, prolonged heavy rain caused some areas in Da Lat city to be partially flooded.

Rainwater combined with water from upstream flooded Phan Dinh Phung Street (Ward 2) from 20 to 40cm deep; To Ngoc Van Alley (Ward 2) was also flooded from 20 to 30cm.

Heavy rain also caused Tran Quoc Toan Street, near the Da Lat City Flower Garden area, to be slightly flooded. Flooding has affected traffic in these areas.

At around 2:00 p.m. the same day, the rain stopped and the water began to recede. The authorities coordinated with the people to clean up mud and waste. Traffic on the routes is gradually stabilizing.
