On the 26th of Tet, the roads leading to the gateways of Hanoi had a large volume of traffic, and long traffic jams occurred on the 3rd ring road and the entrance to the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway.
However, thanks to the surveillance camera system installed on key routes, such as Khuat Duy Tien, Nga Tu So, Giai Phong, Ngoc Hoi..., the Hanoi Traffic Police force (CSGT) was promptly present at congestion points to regulate traffic.

According to Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia - Head of Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police, the installed modern surveillance camera system not only helps detect and quickly handle violations, such as running red lights, driving in the wrong lane, stopping and parking in violation of regulations, but also actively supports in regulating traffic flow during rush hours.
In addition, expressways such as Phap Van - Cau Gie, Hanoi - Hai Phong or Noi Bai - Lao Cai are also being closely monitored by a modern camera system managed by the Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security.
"The close coordination between the Department's command center and localities has helped the traffic police force operate traffic in a synchronous and smooth manner," said Colonel Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Director of the Traffic Police Department.

At the Traffic Command Center of the Traffic Police Department, images from hundreds of "magic eyes" are continuously updated, providing real-time information about traffic situations nationwide.
From here, traffic regulation and diversion plans are promptly deployed to local traffic police, ensuring smooth traffic on major routes.

It is forecasted that in the coming hours, traffic volume to the gateways of the capital will continue to increase, especially the elevated Ring Road 3. People who need to travel should monitor the situation through traffic guidance applications to have a reasonable travel plan, strictly comply with regulations on signs, traffic lights and the regulation of functional forces on the road.
