On June 6, Chieng Ken Commune Police said that the unit had coordinated with Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police to clarify the case of a group of students driving motorbikes violating traffic laws, filming clips and posting them on Facebook social network.
Previously, through grasping the situation in cyberspace, functional forces discovered that the Facebook account "Trieu Thi Duyen" posted a video recording the scene of many teenagers driving motorbikes without helmets, carrying more people than prescribed and lined up horizontally on the road.
The video quickly attracted many views and comments, causing offense and adversely affecting traffic law compliance awareness.
Through verification, the police agency identified the account holder as T.T. D. (born in 2010, residing in Khe Tao village, Chieng Ken commune). On June 4 and 5, Chieng Ken Commune Police summoned T.T. D. and related people to work.

At the police station, T.T. D. confessed that on June 3, she and 6 other students were driving motorbikes on provincial road 151B, passing through Khe Pan village, Chieng Ken commune.
During the movement, D. used his phone to record the scene of the group violating traffic laws and then posted it on Facebook with the aim of expressing himself and attracting attention on social networks.
The verification results showed that the related cases were all underage to drive vehicles according to regulations, and also had acts of carrying more people than allowed.
Functional agencies have fined cases of people who are not old enough to drive vehicles with a total amount of 1.25 million VND; and fined vehicle owners 27 million VND for handing over vehicles to people who are not qualified to drive.
