The completion of site clearance (GPMB) for the 2.5 Ring Road project, Nguy Nhu Kon Tum - Nguyen Trai section in Thanh Xuan ward in a short time (more than 4 months) is not only a milestone marking the development of Hanoi's transport infrastructure, but also a clear proof of the drastic spirit of "Hanoi says it does it, does it to the end". This achievement also contributes to affirming the success of the 2-level government model close to the people, close to the people after a year of operation, turning a long-standing "bottleneck" into a driving force for urban development.
In the context of a cumbersome workload, many new and difficult tasks, the ward still maintains a high operating pace, not allowing this task to slow down another task.
Responsibility from urgent and transparent actions
Immediately after the Hanoi City People's Committee issued an emergency construction order at the beginning of 2026, Thanh Xuan ward determined that this is a key political task that needs to be focused on.
The spirit of responsibility is shown right from the stage of organizing the project announcement conference to all people subject to site clearance. The ward established 10 working groups to carry out preliminary measurement and inventory, and complete public technical drawings for people to directly compare and confirm.
One of the highlights in site clearance work in Thanh Xuan ward is the continuous working spirit, regardless of holidays, of the team of officials and civil servants.
To promptly listen to and resolve people's petitions, many officials work throughout the Lunar New Year, Hung Kings Commemoration Day, and holidays on April 30 and May 1, 2026. Propaganda and mobilization teams directly in charge by comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee have taken advantage of evenings and weekends to go to each household to dialogue and explain policies.
Not only stopping at propaganda, the government also directly removes specific obstacles, from legal documents, support policies to the need to stabilize housing and education for people after relocation.
In addition to fully implementing compensation, support, and resettlement policies according to regulations, Thanh Xuan ward also focuses on taking care of the social security for households subject to relocation.
The government proactively proposed that the city allocate resettlement land funds in Dai Mo ward, arrange temporary housing, implement policies to support house rent, reward progress of site handover and support stable study for students in the area.

Social consensus from humane practices
During the site clearance process, the Mobile Team chaired by the Ward Military Command directly supported people in transporting belongings and arranging temporary accommodation. Images of officials, functional forces and people collecting and moving property have created closeness and sharing in the site clearance process.
From the dedication and responsibility in the implementation process, the site clearance work at the project has received great consensus from the people. Many exemplary party member and veteran families handed over the land early to serve the common interests of the Capital.
A notable highlight is that Thanh Xuan ward implemented forms of gratitude to the people who handed over the land on schedule through a loudspeaker system and signs with the words: "Thanh Xuan ward respectfully thanks the people for handing over the land". Through this, the government acknowledged the sacrifice and companionship of the people for the common development of the city.
According to statistics, during the project implementation process, Thanh Xuan ward authorities have conducted more than 1,000 citizen receptions, promptly resolving dozens of petitions and recommendations related to compensation, support and resettlement work. This shows the spirit of receptiveness, willingness to listen and dialogue with people in the process of performing tasks.
As of May 18, 2026, the ward has rewarded progress for 346 cases of handing over land on time with a total budget of about 9 billion VND; temporary housing support for 198 cases with an amount of nearly 12.5 billion VND.
