Difficultness and dedication to the village
The whole district of Krong Nang currently has nearly 80 prestigious people from the E De, Tay, Thai ethnic groups... recognized by the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.
They are active factors in propagating and disseminating laws, building solidarity, maintaining security and order, and developing cultural and social life at the grassroots level.

Mr. Y Ghuih Mlo (born in 1956), from E De, currently lives in Krong Nang town. He is a person who understands the customs, practices and thoughts of the people, so he is always trusted and loved by the people.
Over the years, he has actively participated in association and union activities and has been a pioneer in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws; mobilizing people to abandon bad customs and be vigilant against distorted arguments.
In particular, Mr. Y Ghuih is also a prestigious person in mediation work at the grassroots level. "Every time there is a conflict in the village, I try to advise the solution so that the people can unite, work with peace of mind, and develop the economy," he shared.

In Dlie Ya commune (Krong Nang district), Mr. Y Bam Ksor also has high prestige in the community. In the past, he spent a lot of time going to every alley, knocking on every house to mobilize and propagate to eliminate bad customs.
Thanks to his perseverance, many people have changed their lifestyle, given up the habit of gathering alcohol, being willing to do business, and building a better life for their family.
Similarly, M'Drak district is also a locality with nearly 60 village elders, village chiefs and prestigious people. Here, their role has been clearly promoted.

Mr. Y Dhuk Nie, a prestigious person in Leng village, Cu Meta commune, M'Drak district, said: "Previously, people had many bad customs such as burying relatives in the village, giving birth to many children to have male workers in the house, when sick, they did not go to the health station but went to seek seek medicine to worship... These customs caused people's lives to stagnate, poverty to last."
Faced with this situation, Mr. Y Dhuk has coordinated with the Women's Union, the Fatherland Front and commune organizations to actively propagate and mobilize people to abandon bad customs, raise awareness of law compliance, and build a new lifestyle.
Mr. Y Dhuk also accompanies local authorities in supporting vocational training and job orientation. Thereby, helping people create stable income, gradually improving the quality of life.
Important bridge between the government and the people
Ms. H'Lan, Thi village, Ea Trang commune, M'Drak district shared: "Every time I need to answer land procedures or business orientation, I ask the village chief and a reputable person for support. Thanks to their dedicated guidance, I don't have to travel many times, saving time and effort".

According to Ms. H'Lan, thanks to the support of village elders, village chiefs and prestigious people, many practical models have been formed in the locality such as the "No Third Child" Club, the "For the Advancement of Women" Club, the "Preventing Domestic Violence" Club... attracting a large number of people to participate.
These models have contributed to raising public awareness of family planning, gender equality, building a prosperous, progressive, and happy family.

They are exemplary in maintaining security and order, developing culture - society and have made many contributions to the work of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of the nation".

They understand the customs, practices and psychology of the people, so they can easily grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people.
