Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 2244/QD-UBND dated June 20, 2026 approving the policy and estimated cost of leasing services to look after, preserve assets and environmental sanitation of surplus houses and land, awaiting handling in 2026.
According to the decision, the service leasing unit is the Ninh Binh Provincial Land Fund Development Center. The scope of implementation includes services for supervising, preserving assets and environmental sanitation at redundant houses and land facilities, awaiting handling in the province.
The total estimated cost is nearly 9 billion VND, allocated from the state budget. Implementation time in 2026.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to be responsible for proposing the volume of tasks to be implemented, ensuring the accuracy of the work contents and cost estimates to submit to competent authorities for approval.
At the same time, based on assigned tasks to organize implementation to ensure efficiency, economy, on schedule and compliance with current regulations.
According to Report No. 4293/UBND-VP5 dated June 25, 2026 of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, implementing the direction of the Central Government, the Government, the Prime Minister and the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, over the past time, the province has focused on directing and implementing the establishment and organization of the plan to exploit and handle redundant housing and land facilities.
The handling is aimed at promptly putting public assets into exploitation or handling according to regulations, not allowing the situation of omission of houses and land, damage, degradation, encroachment, loss, and waste to occur. In which, the province prioritizes arranging houses and land for medical, educational, cultural, sports, defense, and security purposes.
As of June 24, 2026, the total number of redundant houses and land facilities in Ninh Binh province is 839 facilities. Of which, there are 672 facilities in Ninh Binh province; 167 facilities of central agencies located in the province.
The total number of redundant houses and land facilities that have been decided to be transferred or assigned tasks by the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to units under the province for management and handling is 787 facilities. Of these, 367 facilities have been handled, and 420 facilities have not been handled.
