Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Hanh - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Health - said that the presence of central-level hospitals in the area will help Ninh Binh Health sector effectively implement the strengthening of links and coordination between medical facilities to train human resources, provide professional support and share modern health management methods.
From there, encourage and promote the socialization of healthcare, attract domestic and foreign investment, link healthcare development with the province's tourism potential, and gradually form healthcare tourism and resort models - a direction suitable to Ninh Binh's advantages.
Along with Bach Mai Hospital, Ninh Binh facility, there is also Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, facility 2, which is about to go into operation in the province. In addition, there are also a number of non-public medical facilities operating effectively.
Cooperation to support health development
Also according to Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Health Pham Thi Phuong Hanh, Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee and Bach Mai Hospital have signed a Cooperation Agreement to support health development for the period 2026 - 2031.
According to the content of the agreement, the two sides will deploy comprehensive cooperation in many fields on the principle of voluntariness, equality, practicality, and efficiency; in accordance with the needs, actual conditions, functions, and tasks of each party and in compliance with the provisions of law.

The two sides also agreed to coordinate in scientific research, application of artificial intelligence and new technologies in the field of health; building out-of-hospital emergency systems, community emergencies; developing models of elderly health care; promoting health education communication and proactive health care for people.
An important content agreed upon by the two sides is to coordinate to support the deployment of Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh and support the development of the training facility of Bach Mai Hospital in Nam Cao University Area, ensuring feasibility, synchronization, efficiency, and compliance with legal regulations.
