Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the project to repair the roadbed, road surface and works section Km113+000 - Km115+000 on National Highway 21 in the province.
According to the approved decision, group C projects are implemented in Ly Thuong Kiet and Chau Son wards. The project's objective is to repair damage to the foundation, road surface and drainage system; reduce noise, improve environmental sanitation; and at the same time maintain the operating capacity of National Highway 21. The total investment of the project is more than 18.4 billion VND.
The main investment items include: upgrading and re-paving damaged roadbeds and surfaces; renovating and building new drainage ditches and culverts; supplementing traffic lights and lighting systems at intersections.
The project applies technical plans suitable for each segment of the road.
For sections of road surface that are cracked, sunken, or structurally damaged, the roadbed will be dug and treated with a depth of 7 cm to 40 cm. After local repair, the entire road surface will be replenished and reinforced with a thick layer of asphalt concrete to improve exploitation quality and project life.
The Provincial People's Committee requests the investor to organize project implementation to ensure thrift and efficiency; choose appropriate construction solutions, implement capital allocation on schedule, ensure project quality and absolutely not allow outstanding basic construction debts to arise.
