On August 4, Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee held a regular meeting in July 2026 to assess the results of socio-economic development tasks in July, deploy key tasks in August and give opinions on the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee in the coming time.
According to the report, in July, the Provincial People's Committee focused on directing all levels and sectors to synchronously implement socio-economic development tasks and solutions, closely following the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council; concretizing the operating motto "clear people, clear tasks, clear progress, clear responsibilities, clear authority, clear results". Thanks to that, the socio-economic situation of the province continued to maintain positive growth momentum in many fields.
In which, the economic sector and industrial production continued to recover and develop stably. The index of industrial production (IIP) in July increased by 23.77% compared to the same period last year; accumulated for 7 months increased by 26.98%, in which the processing and manufacturing industry continued to play a driving force for growth.
In addition, investment in infrastructure construction and disbursement of public investment capital were focused on directing; the value of investment capital implemented from local budget sources reached 3,616 billion VND, accumulated for 7 months reached 19,967 billion VND, equal to 45.9% of the annual plan; disbursement of public investment capital was estimated at over 9,554 billion VND, equal to 27.2% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.
Cultural and social fields continue to be concerned. The health sector effectively implements disease prevention and control, periodic health check-ups and screening for people; so far, 497,283 people have been examined, reaching 52.2% of the plan for priority groups.
