Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the project to urgently handle Hai Thinh III sea dike (section from K25+000 - K27+120) belonging to Hai Hau sea dike and build a new 1/5 culvert, Hai Thinh commune. The total investment of the project is 230 billion VND.
The project is implemented in the period from 2026 - 2028 to combat coastal erosion, improve flood and tidal flood prevention capacity, control saltwater intrusion, maintain fresh water, contribute to protecting the safety of people's lives and property, essential infrastructure works and create conditions for socio-economic development in coastal areas.
According to the decision, the Hai Thinh III sea dike will be upgraded and the dike surface will be expanded to 7 m on a length of about 2.12 km. The dike surface expansion is paved with 16-inch asphalt concrete on a system of crushed stone layers, ensuring technical requirements and long-term exploitation capacity...
Along with upgrading the dyke line, the project invests in building a new 1/5 culvert at position K5+968 on the left side of the Ninh Co river mouth dyke, replacing the existing structure.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 to be the project investor. In the process of implementation, the investor is responsible for organizing the development of construction drawing designs to ensure full calculation of technical conditions, selecting appropriate, efficient and economical structural and material solutions.
