On February 14, the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province announced that it had issued a plan to implement local tasks in the construction of the Nuclear Power Plant. There are 6 key groups of tasks for the locality set out and striving to complete in 2025.
There are some key task groups such as the locality that have directed relevant agencies to develop a plan to organize propaganda to cadres, party members, union members, festival members and local people about the policy of restarting investment in the Nuclear Power Project.
Ninh Thuan will mobilize and grasp the thoughts and expectations of the people to propose solutions, policies for socio-economic development and social security policies for people in areas affected by the implementation of the Nuclear Power Plant.
In particular, the propaganda of Nuclear Power is also associated with the development of Ninh Thuan tourism; ensuring political security, social order and safety.
In February 2025, Ninh Thuan province has a Steering Committee and a Working Group to assist the Steering Committee for the implementation of the nuclear power plant project and the Project Management Board. Currently, the locality continues to improve the structure of titles and implementation tasks.
Ninh Thuan province will also continue to set the task of adjusting the Ninh Thuan Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 according to a shortened process to serve as a basis for implementing the policy of restarting the Ninh Thuan nuclear power plant; especially adjusting the District Construction Planning; general planning for the South, zoning plan, general planning for construction of coastal tourist areas in the South of the province.
Advising on mechanisms and policies for compensation, support for people, and resettlement of Ninh Thuan nuclear power projects... to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval in the most recent session; advising on the implementation of forest land conversion for items related to projects serving the construction of projects.
During the construction of the nuclear power project, Ninh Thuan province paid special attention to site clearance and land management.
Accordingly, departments and branches will guide the two districts of Thuan Nam and Ninh Hai district to manage land after the province has announced the cancellation of land recovery notices for compensation and site clearance by implementing nuclear power plant construction projects.
Localities where projects are being prepared for construction must strengthen land management, self-construction, and prevent land buying and selling and transferring to enjoy compensation and support policies.
The Central Government reviews a series of specific mechanisms and policies

On the morning of February 14, the Government submitted to the National Assembly a Report on specific mechanisms and policies for investment in the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project.
The two Ninh Thuan nuclear power plants are expected to be put into operation in 2030.
