By the evening of March 16, the Ho Chi Minh City Police force coordinated with the Thu Duc City Police Team and the Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team under the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Ho Chi Minh City Police to complete the investigation of the scene of a series of accidents caused by a female Mercedes driver.

Through initial investigation, the authorities determined that the woman driving the Mercedes involved the accident was driving on the wrong side of the road when she had an alcohol concentration in her, leading to a series of collisions with 10 motorbikes.
At around 5:00 p.m. the same day, Ms. N.T.T.N (41 years old, living in Thu Duc City) was driving a Mercedes on Song Hanh Street towards Dong Nai Bridge. When arriving at Thu Duc intersection, the car suddenly crashed into a series of motorbikes waiting at a red light.

According to the investigation, Ms. N. drove a car into the lane for motorbikes, which is a lane where cars are prohibited from moving. Then caused an accident.
Currently, the police are taking blood samples of the female driver to test for further alcohol concentration in the blood. After checking, female driver N. had a B2 driver's license.
Earlier, at around 5:00 p.m. the same day, female driver N. was driving a Mercedes on Song Hanh Street towards Dong Nai Bridge. When arriving at Thu Duc intersection, it suddenly collided with a series of 10 motorbikes that were stopping at red lights in front.
The strong impact caused many people and motorbikes to be thrown onto the road. One victim was thrown onto the hood, pushed a distance of 30m and rolled onto the road.
The accident injured 5 people, including 1 person who was seriously injured and unconscious.
After the accident, the female driver opened the door and got out of the car, panicked, and burst into tears. The female driver was then taken by the authorities to the police station 20m away.
The authorities are still taking statements from female driver N. to consolidate the case file and handle it according to the law.
