On the same morning, floodwaters caused underground flooding across Dak Pi Hao stream, the road to Mo Nang 2 village was flooded, isolating 200 households in this village.
To ensure the safety of the people, the People's Committee of Ia Pa district has directed forces to guard the flooded area and not allow people to pass through. The district has also directed the timely provision of necessary necessities for the people in case of prolonged isolation; at the same time, it has requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to soon invest in raising the spillway to prevent this area from being flooded during the rainy season.
