Xinhua News Agency reported that on November 23, China's meteorological agencies issued a green alert for a cold front and strong winds, with a sharp drop expected to hit some parts of the country in the coming days.
According to the National Meteorological Center of China, from November 23 to 28, temperatures in most areas of China will drop by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius.
Some places in northwest, north and northeast China are expected to see temperatures drop by 12 to 14 degrees Celsius, with some areas reaching 16 degrees Celsius.
The center also issued a green warning for strong winds, saying that on November 24, strong winds are expected to hit some areas in the Northernmost Rift Area, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Central Highlands Autonomous Region, the provinces of Qinghai and Gansu, the Xian Xia Autonomous Region, the sea off the east of Taiwan (China) and some areas in the East Sea.

In the next 1-2 days, this core area will expand to the east and reach its strongest intensity in Siberia (Russia) and Mongolia, with the central core pressure index reaching 1055-1060 mbar, with the lowest temperature in the core area at one point dropping to minus 30 degrees.
During the period of November 23-25, cold waves from the southern edge of the cold core will move to the southeast, expanding the area affecting areas in China and overflowing to Vietnam from the night of November 25 and the morning of November 26.

The weather forecast bulletin of the Vietnam National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on November 24 also warned about strong cold air moving south.
In the evening and night of November 25, this cold air mass will affect the northeastern provinces, then affect the North Central, Northwest and Central Central regions. The northeast wind inland is strong at level 3-4, coastal areas at level 4-5.
